Propositions

The Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam has the scientific expertise, infrastructure and commercial potential to offer and serve the industry. We do this through an integrated approach as illustrated by the socalled Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam Matrix. Commercial validation indicated that the business propositions of Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam are welcomed and interest was generated by the several assets of the institute.

The service-offering propositions of the Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam consist of the bundling and integration of several commercial research services, based on three brain disease areas, i.e. Neurodegenerative Diseases (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease), White Matter Diseases (in particular Multiple Sclerosis) and Anxiety and (Unipolar) Depression.

The Industry Alliance Office offers an one-stop shop, capable of conducting all research activities from preclinical collaborative research projects up to clinical phase III studies. The identified activities and related services are further supported by specific neuroscience expertise, access to large patient cohorts, in-house biobanks and the underlying infrastructures of VU Medical Center and the VU University Amsterdam.
