PhD training in Europe
PhD training in Europe is under dynamic rearrangement between different collaborating bodies. The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies offers a good portal to get access to information on summerschool programmes in Europe.
Brain-Train
At the Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam, we offer facilities to several International Training Networks, most recently a training network called BrainTrain (under supervision by Heidi de Wit).
ENC-Network
In addition, we are well connected in the so-called ENI network and have started in 2009-2010 the European Neuroscience Campus Network (see hyperlink www.enc-network.eu) of which our director, Arjen Brussaard is the founding coordinator. During the first months of 2010 we will be recruiting for new PhD students that can start their PhD training in October 2010. In total until 2014 we intend to recruit over 50 new PhD students in this network.
