BA in Biological Psychology

The third year of the BA program “Biological Psychology” consists of 4 courses (6 ECTS each) that focus on the relation among behavior, health, genes and the brain. Each course consists of theoretical and practical work. Next, two courses focus on research skills (6 ECTS) and employing these skills in writing an independent BA thesis (12 ECTS) which is supervised by a senior member of the staff. Courses in the philosophy and history of psychology and in statistics are shared with other BA psychology students.

The BA program in Biological Psychology prepares the student to enter the MA program Neurosciences, which is a broad interdisciplinary program supported by the departments of Psychology, Biology, and the Medical School.
