Management Team

When starting a new interfaculty organization, the business plan of the institute is important, however eventually the success of our endavour depends on the management. We have a Management Team of 6 professors that take care of the internal organization of the Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam. They come from the four faculties of our VU campus, some have dual appointments and all work very hard. The director calls upon the Management Team at least once a month, or every two weeks, if necessary. The Management Team decides on internal policy issues, spending budget, and research strategy in general. At least once or twice a year, the chairs of our Quality Committee (CWOs) advise the Management Team concerning issues of Research Strategy. The director chairs the sessions of the Management Team.
